I've used the Swanson Brand Hawthorne Berries Liquid, alcohol and sugar free, along with 6 or 8 other liquid herbal concentrates daily for years. I put a good strong pull on the dropper amount of each into a healthy cocktail I make up with lots of other ingredients. I don't notice any taste from any of these herbal liquid extracts. Of course, there is the inherent taste from the other dozen, or so, powdered green and amino acid ingredient, but it's all fine and good. The different liquid herbal extracts I add are for specific purposes, which you can read about on Swanson's website and other places online. This one, Hawthorne Berries, is renowned for the heart. I'm all about keeping my heart, as well as my liver, brain, immune system, everything, as healthy and well nourished as possible. I also give one pull on the dropper of Hawthorne Berries liquid extract to my twelve year old dog. I just squirt it directly into his mouth. He likes it just fine - - - smacks and licks his lips. I have him on a good nutritional program, just as I do for myself.Rather than take lots more capsules and tablets, I prefer nutritional supplement and herbal products in liquids and / or powders whenever they are available that way, and as long as they are top quality and effective.
